Eyal Research Consultants believes that inventors should assume an active role in creating IP. We discuss the invention with the inventor and agree on points of novelty that serve as the basis for drafting of patent claims which serve as the basis for the application we prepare. In addition, we encourage the inventor to provide information that makes the patent specification “enabling”.  We encourage the inventor to provide input throughout the drafting process and to help us emphasize important variations on the main idea. We urge the inventor and applicant company  to consider where the application will ultimately be filed so that we can consider the requirements of the various relevant jurisdictions when drafting the application.

When needed, we can recommend associates in various jurisdictions to handle filing and payment of official fees.
In contrast to many large law firms, we encourage the inventor and the applicant company to remain involved in the examination process after the application is filed. We are prepared to accompany the inventor and/or applicant through the examination process in various jurisdictions, explaining how what is being done in one jurisdiction can influence what happens in another jurisdiction.
